Who we are

Minstrel Court is a wedding and events venue at Ermine Way, Cambridge SG8 0AB, operated by Jenmor Hospitality Ltd, who is the data controller for the personal information described here. You can reach us about anything in this notice at hello@minstrelcourt.co.uk or on 01223 650484.

What we collect, and why

When you send an enquiry, book a viewing, or chat with our online assistant, we collect what you choose to share with us: typically your name, email address, phone number, and details about the event you're planning — dates, guest numbers, the spaces you're interested in and any messages you write.

We use this to reply to you, arrange viewings, prepare quotes, and manage your event if you book. That's it — we don't sell your information, and we won't add you to marketing lists without asking you first.

The online assistant

Our chat assistant answers questions about the venue and can pass your enquiry to the team when you ask it to. Conversations are processed by our AI service provider to generate replies. Please only share the contact details needed for your enquiry.

Where your information lives

Enquiries are stored in our customer-management system, and this website is hosted by our hosting provider. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and data-protection commitments. Some processing may take place outside the UK, protected by recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we're talking to you about your event, and booking records for as long as the law requires us to (for example for accounting). If you enquire and don't book, we'll clear your details within a reasonable period — or straight away if you ask.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just email hello@minstrelcourt.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies & analytics

This site uses only what's needed to make it work, plus — if you say yes to the banner on your first visit — Google Analytics, which sets a cookie so we can see how couples use the site (which pages are popular, how people find us). It's anonymised, it isn't used for advertising, and nothing runs unless you accept.

If you said yes and change your mind, clear this site's cookies in your browser and the choice will be asked again on your next visit. We don't run any advertising or social-media tracking.
